This page is for visitors to ramdoot.in: how to look around, how to find a course, how to try a lesson, and how to enrol a student. Once a student is enrolled, Help leads to the full guide instead, Help for students and parents. That guide is for enrolled students and their parents: it asks you to log in first.

1. Finding your way around
The menu at the top of every page (on a phone: behind the menu button) has:
| Link | Leads to |
|---|---|
| Home | the front page |
| Courses | all courses on offer |
| Login | the login page, for those who have an account |
At the foot of every page are About (who we are), Blog, Help (this page), Privacy and Contact Us.
2. How Ramdoot courses work
- A course (for example Physics for class 12) is made of chapters. A chapter has topics, sometimes grouped into sections. A topic is one lesson: text, often with a video, sometimes followed by a quiz.
- A course is taught in batches. A batch is a group of students who study the course between a start date and an end date. A student is always enrolled in a batch.
- A batch is either free or paid. The course page shows which, with the fee of a paid batch.
- Students study on this site, at their own pace within the batch's dates. A quiz after a topic has to be passed before the next part of the course opens.
3. Looking at a course
- Choose Courses in the menu.
- Each course is shown as a card with its subject, class and board. Choose a card to open the course page.
- The course page shows a summary of the course, and under Batches in this course the batches open for enrolment now: their dates, fees (or "FREE"), how many students are enrolled and how many places are left.
- At the side of the page (on a phone: under "Course contents", which opens when tapped) is the full list of chapters and topics, so you can see everything the course covers.
Everyone can read the titles. The lessons themselves open only for students enrolled in the course, apart from sample topics.
4. Trying a lesson: sample topics
In the course contents list, a topic with an open padlock in colour is a sample topic. Anyone may open it, without an account, to see what a lesson looks like. Topics with a grey closed padlock open after enrolment; choosing one leads to the login page.
5. Enrolling a student
Who enrols
Our students are school students, so a student is enrolled by a parent or legal guardian. The account belongs to the parent or guardian and uses their email address; the student studies with it. We ask for the student's name only, never for a student's own email address or phone number.
The enrolment form
On the course page, choose Enrol next to the batch you want, and fill in the form:
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| You are the student's | mother, father or legal guardian |
| Your name, Your email, Your phone number | the parent's or guardian's. All mails go to this email address, and it becomes the login name |
| Student's name | the name of the student who will study the course |
| Course and batch | already chosen if you came from the course page |
| Your address, Your state or union territory | asked for a paid batch only; they appear on the receipt |
| The declaration | tick it to confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian and may enrol the student |
| The picture with letters | type the letters you see |
A batch marked "Batch is full" cannot be chosen. If no batch of a course is open, use Contact Us to ask when the next one starts.
What happens next
- You get the mail "We have received your enrolment request".
- We look at the request and write again: it is approved, and for a paid batch the fee is due. We write to you about how to pay.
- For a paid batch, once your payment is recorded you get "Thank you for your payment" with the receipt attached.
- The mail "You are enrolled" says the place is active, and how to log in and start.
The steps after that (studying, quizzes, progress) are in Help for students and parents, which opens once you are enrolled and logged in. Logging in is described below.
6. Logging in
An account is created for you when your enrolment request is approved; there is no separate sign-up. The "You are enrolled" mail carries a one-time link with which you set your password.
After that: Login in the menu, with your email address and password. If you have forgotten the password, choose Login, then Reset your password.
7. Asking us something
Contact Us at the foot of every page: give your name and email address and write your question. We reply by mail.
8. Your information
The Privacy link at the foot of every page says what we hold about you and the student, why, and for how long.
9. When something does not work
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| A topic asks you to log in | It is not a sample topic: it opens after enrolment |
| No batch can be chosen on the enrolment form | No batch is open at the moment, or the batch is full. Ask through Contact Us |
| The form is refused | Read the message in red: a field is missing, the letters of the picture were mistyped, or a request for that batch exists already |
| No mail has arrived after sending the form | Look in the spam or junk folder, then write to us through Contact Us |
| A video in a sample topic does not play | Reload the page; try another browser, or switch off an ad blocker for this site |
| The page looks old or broken | Reload it (on a computer: Ctrl+F5) |
